#MeToo: Rajat Kapoor accused of sexual harassment, asked a woman her body measurements

B-town is experiencing turbulence since the last couple of days, after actress Tanushree Dutta levelled charges of sexual harassment against veteran actor Nana Patekar. 

The move of Tanushree, has more or less been as 'eye opener' moment for Bollywood, with several celebrities, and people in general coming out with their stories of sexual misbehaviour. 

With the victims coming forward, the perpetrators are being exposed.

After Queen director Vikas Bahl and singer Kailash Kher, in a shocking turn of events, actor Rajat Kapoor has also been accused of harassment. 

Journalist Sandhya Menon recently shared a post, wherein two women had accused the Kapoor & Sons actor of misconduct. 

One of the two women is a journalist, who stated that while she was interviewing Rajat Kapoor on the phone, he misbehaved and asked her questions such as ' are you as sexy as you sound', also inquired about her body measurements.

Another woman narrated an incident where the actor would not stop calling her for a film's shoot and asked her if she knew an empty house. Apparently, Rajat wanted to shoot for a film with her in an empty house.

While it may come as a shock to many that an actor of such calibre could get into such an activity and be inappropriate towards women, it is possible that Rajat Kapoor did indulge in something of this sort. But so far, nothing substantial on the same has come to the fore.   

Well, with all this, looks like the #MeeToo movement is finally here in India, with the victims not cowing down and sharing their experiences.

We hope that whoever the perpetrator is, if the allegations are true, the victims get the justice they deserve.
