Rumours about Arjun Kapoor's wedding with Malaika Arora have been doing the rounds for quite a long time. Arjun Kapoor once again quashes the speculations about his impending marriage. Read on...
These days, wherever Arjun Kapoor goes, one question that follows him like a certain dog in a TVC of a mobile phone network, is that of his impending wedding with Malaika Arora. Speculations about Arjun and Malaika's wedding have been doing the rounds for the longest time and now that the duo is frequently seen spending time with each other, be it over lunch and dinner or catching the screening of Arjun's latest release India's Most Wanted, rumour mills have been busier than ever that wedding bells are soon to ring for the couple.
While both Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have denied the wedding rumours in the past, when Arjun gatecrashed Malaika Arora's all-girls-trip in Maldives, more fuel was added to the fire. Now, during the promotions of India's Most Wanted, Arjun was aksed about his wedding rumours that refuse to die down and if it'll be a private affair. Arjun told TOI, "If I was keeping it personal, I wouldn’t even be answering your question. I’ve answered that I am NOT getting married, so there’s nothing to hide. If I was getting married, I would tell everybody. If you actually check the last few interviews that I’ve done, I’ve spoken very candidly and openly about it. The day I decide to get married, I will not hide it from anybody. It is not something that I want to hide. If I’m open about my relationship, there’s no reason for me to want to hide my marriage."
Speaking about the constan speculations surrounding his wedding, Arjun added, "Speculation is normal because that is the profession we are in. It’s harmless because shaadi ki baat ho rahi hai, ab uspe kya gussa hona. Woh mere ghar pe bhi speculation hogi ki ladka jawaan ho gaya hai, kab shaadi karega. Harmless speculations, I don’t mind because it’s your job. I don’t mind talking about it. I think the media has been very dignified with me, they’ve kept their distance. Little bit of conversation is bound to happen. I’m not the first actor whose personal life is being looked at and I won’t be the last.”
Arjun also added that whenever he decides to get married, he won't hide it at all as a marriage is something to be happy about. He also gave example of his cousin Sonam Kapoor's wedding and shared how inclusive they all are as a family and that they don't believe in hiding things. He concluded by saying that when the time is right they'll ensure that the media too is a part of it.
