The filmmakers of Thugs of Hindostan unleashed first look of Amitabh Bachchan in Vijay Krishna Acharya's opus. Along with the look at the character, Yash Raj Films also revealed Big B's onscreen name for the movie.

Aamir Khan, who is collaborating with Bollywood's legendary actor for the first time, tweeted the first look with the caption, "The biggest thug of all !!!"

Yash Raj Films official handle followed the suit and captioned their video, revealing a little more information about the character called Khudabaksh.

They wrote, "Wading through storms & battles, the commander of Thugs has arrived."

So this is the confirmation that Aamir Khan's character will be part of Khudabaksh's crew that messes with the British Empire and their naval powers in India.

The 25-seconds-long clip is a motion poster of sorts in which we see Bachchan onboard an old-timey ship. The stormy weather in the clip closely resembles the rough side of the open waters we all became familiar with in Disney' Pirates of the Caribbean.

Bachchan is wearing a turban, protective armour and sleeves in a very moss-y colour palette. This attire is paired with dhoti and sword we saw in the first teaser. A hawk, the mascot of these pirates, adds edginess to the whole frame.

Based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, this movie tells the story of a pirate gang who posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India during the early 19th century.

Also starring Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Thugs of Hindostan will release on November 8.
