Now that he is done shooting 'Jabariya Jodi' with Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra has shifted all his attention to his upcoming action drama 'Marjaavan'. Currently, the actor is shooting a grand action sequence for the film. The scene features everything that a dramatic dhishoom-dhishoom scene requires - goons, fire, rain and darkness. And apparently the whole process has got Sidharth so excited that he has refused to take body doubles.

A source revealed, "The stunt team wanted to shoot with a body double because Sid’s back and shoulder would be on fire but he was adamant on doing the scene himself to make it look authentic and stay true to his character. There is a lot maar dhaad in the film and he has pulled it all off himself."

Riteish Deshmukh, whose character is vertically challenged in the film will be joining the team for the shoot next week and the lengthy schedule will continue till March-end. The source added, "The multiple confrontation sequences between good and evil is where the entire fun unwinds."

The first look poster of the film was released last year in October and it read, “Ishq mein marenge bhi, maarenge bhi”, which hints at the film being about a feisty love story. The flick will hit the big screens on October 2, 2019.

The movie will see Sidharth sharing screen with Riteish Deshmukh for the second time after 'Ek Villain' in 2014. Tara Sutaria, who will make her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in The 'Student of the Year 2' will also be a part of the movie. The film also feature Rakul Preet Singh.
