'Marjaavaan' Box Office Report Day 1: Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh's film opens well but needs to sustain
It was previously reported that Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marjaavaan has a decent start of 20-25% collections
Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's movie Marjaavaan which released in theatres on Friday has a good start at the Box Office. The movie managed to mint Rs. 6.75-7 crore net on day one of its release.
Marjaavan sees Ek Villain jodi Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh back on screen. The movie, which falls in the range of Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar's film Bala, is not going strong in bigger multiplexes. The film is, however, working well in single screens and lower-priced multiplexes.
The growth of this film might be limited on Saturday. However, hopes are pinned on Sunday. Monday will prove most crucial for Marjaavaan since that can declare whether the movie can sustain at the Box Office for long enough or not.
Marjaavaan worked well in UP and Bihar. While Delhi and UP circuit total was Rs. 1.80 crore net, despite lower numbers, the movie earned Rs. 40 lakhs in Bihar. CP Berar and Nizam were other circuits which collected Rs. 45 lakhs each.
