Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has lashed out at Karan Johar through his latest tweet. Bhandarkar alleges that Johar stole the title of his upcoming project 'Bollywood Wives', despite his refusal to use the title.

For the uninformed, Karan has tweaked the title to 'The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives'. Johar along with Apoorva Mehta have come up with the web show which would talk about the life of Bollywood wives.

Bhandarkar tweeted about the incident and wrote, "Dear @karanjohar U & @apoorvamehta18 had asked me 4 the title #BollywoodWives for web, which I refused,as my project is underway."

He added, "It is Morally & ethically wrong u to tweak it to #TheFabulousLivesofBollywoodWives. Pls do not dent my project. I humbly request u to change the title."

Here's his tweet:

The show chronicles around the lives of popular 'star wives' namely Seema Khan (wife of Sohail Khan), Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Panday) and Neelam Kothari Soni (wife of Samir Soni). The series gives a glimpse about the glitz and glamour world which they enjoy while juggling between the personal and professional lives.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, who are likely to make a cameo appearance on the show, were also seen in the trailer.

Netflix India described the trailer on YouTube as "What happens when glam meets sass? Watch these BFFs take the girl code up another notch, as they navigate through the ups and downs of parenthood, profession and friendship.
