'Luka Chuppi' stars Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan not on talking terms anymore?

It’s ironical that two actors who delivered a hit film, Luka Chuppi, 50 days ago, were reportedly overheard bad-mouthing each other. Insiders say that they saw the cracks in the relationship between Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon soon after the film’s release. According to one source, “Kriti and some of the people around her were of the opinion that Kartik was trying to hijack the success of the movie. They felt that the actor was making it seem like he was the sole contributor to the success and that others like the director (Laxman Utekar) and leading lady (Kriti) were significantly unimportant to the process.”

Another source adds, “What started as niggling unhappiness soon took the form of extended silence. It’s been conjectured that Kriti did her own damage control by getting herself covered in the media because she had a parallel role to Kartik in the film. And, as such, she should also get equal credit.”

Of course, this whole process has reportedly affected whatever camaraderie the two Gen-Y actors showed in Luka Chuppi. Now, their equation is not-so-friendly. And the grapevine suggests it may be a while before they ‘sort’ things out.

However, since there are no permanent friendships or enmities in the industry, their common friend, producer Dinesh Vijan, himself may actually weave his magic and get these two youngsters to bury the hatchet. We’ve seen this happening so many times earlier, haven’t we?
