Actress Swara Bhaskar, who is making news for her latest movie 'Rasbhari', came out in support of Karan Johar. The filmmaker is under constant scrunity over the nepotism debate post Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Swara asked people to acknowledge that he did not remove the nepotism comment from his show 'Koffee With Karan'.

Swara said that Karan did not only keep the nepotism comment on 'Koffee With Karan', but also answered in a candid and honest manner, without taking personal offense. She tweeted, "Let’s take a moment & acknowledge that @karanjohar took this question on the chin, & answered in a candid & honest manner not taking unwarranted personal offense. Let’s also acknowledge that he didn’t have the infamous #nepotism comment removed from his chat show which he cud’ve."

Here's her tweet:

Kangana Ranaut was the first person on 'Koffee With Karan' to accuse Karan Johar of promoting nepotism by launching star kids. Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut had spoken a lot about the topic. Karan even created a song called 'Nepotism rocks' after the debate, and mocked Kangana Ranaut by stating 'Wo (Kangana) kuch na bole toh hi accha hai' after hearing his own song 'Bole Chudiyan, Bole Kangna'.

Karan is reportedly upset with the industry members for not showing him support while he is constantly trolled on social media ever since Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. The filmmaker had even gone on to unfollow all celebrities from Twitter, except for Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
