Lakme Fashion Week 2018: Shilpa Shetty Kundra dazzles in traditional attire

Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra walked the ramp for Jayanti Reddy at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 on Sunday.

The 42-year-old actor lead the collection titled, 'Life in Monochrome'. The Phir Milenge star wore a pearl grey lehenga with delicate embroidery covering the entirety of it. The look was accessorised with a bodice, a jacket and dupatta with frills. 

She wore her hair in a loose bun with flowers and adorned her neck with a jade choker.

Reddy's clothing line focused on the black-and-white spectrum in the colour palette.

The collection flaunted embroidery with details, breathable fabrics, ruffles and sheen, alongside staying true to monochrome.

On the sidelines of the show, Shilpa Shetty Kundra said she is extremely "excited" as her cookbook, The Diary of a Domestic Diva, will hit the bookshelves in a month.

This is the actor's second stint as an author after her 2014 book, The Great Indian Diet.

"It is expected to come out in a month. I'm very excited because this book is all about recipes and I love cooking. There are around 99 recipes from my kitchen to yours," Shilpa told the reporters.

Shilpa added that the book, published by Penguin India, is dedicated to those people who struggle with cooking.

"It's for those who think that cooking is a difficult task. It's for those who remain extremely confused in the kitchen and keep wondering what they should cook today. I have given some tips and all the dishes can be prepared quickly," Shilpa said.
