Kedarnath Box Office: Sushant Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan starrer enjoys a good opening weekend, collects Rs 27.75 crore

Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer latest release Kedarnath has managed to make a good hold for itself at the box office. The film which opened to a figure of Rs 7.25 crore on Friday managed to mint Rs 10.75 crore on Sunday, which was day three of its release. This takes the overall opening weekend box office collection of the film to Rs 27.75 crore.

The Abhishek Kapoor directorial got mixed reviews from the critics but the performances of its lead cast, especially debutant Sara Ali Khan, were much appreciated. Kedarnath, which saw its own share of ups and downs before its release, is drawing a positive word of mouth from its viewers. The Weekday collections of the film will be pretty crucial, considering Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 is still running quite successfully at the ticket windows. 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the box office figures of the film. He wrote, "#Kedarnath has a good weekend, witnessing substantial growth on Day 2 [34.48%], but limited growth on Day 3 [10.26%]... Sustaining well from Mon to Thu is pivotal... Fri 7.25 cr, Sat 9.75 cr, Sun 10.75 cr. Total: ₹ 27.75 cr. India biz."
