Katrina Kaif feels she gets to spend less time with Alia Bhatt in the gym these days. On Arbaaz Khan's talk show 'Pinch', Katrina admitted that earlier Alia used to train with her more often.
Katrina was shown a video of the two of them training in a segment of the show, in which the guest is meant to provide a story behind a popular social media post. Reacting to the video, which showed Katrina acting as a trainer to Alia, who was lifting weights, she said, “This was when I and Alia used to train together; we still do sometimes but we used to train together more during this time. We were waiting for Yasmin Karachiwala (fitness trainer) and she was late and in the meantime, I asked Alia to get on with it. Alia had just got into functional training at the time and I told Alia to do 80-90 repetitions and in the end, Alia did around 40. Alia was waiting for Yasmin to come back (laughs).”
Alia and Katrina, who are both trained by Yasmin Karachiwala, used to feature in each other's workout videos a lot more frequently before. The posts decreased after Alia started dating Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina's ex boyfriend. There have been rumours of a growing rift between the two but both the ladies have time and again dismissed such reports.

Earlier at a press event, when Alia was asked if she has realised that Katrina has stopped liking her Instagram posts, Alia had said, “I don’t check my Instagram likes. So, I don’t know why people are checking that? But I have to admit I have always been very fond of Katrina. I believe that its the same both ways, according to us. So, I don’t know why other people feel differently? But now I will send her a message to start liking my pictures because if that’s the barometer of friendship then we must start liking everyone’s picture.”
