Kartik Aaryan on 50 days of 'Luka Chuppi': 'I'm so happy that Guddu, Rashmi and their family have received so much love'

B-Town's current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is at an all time high! The actor, who's currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali's next, tentatively titled Love Aaj Kal 2, along with Sara Ali Khan, is basking in the glory of his last release - Luka Chuppi. The movie in which he starred opposited Kriti Sanon, has successfully completed 50 days at the theatres. 

Kartik Aaryan clearly can't contain his excitement on Luka Chuppi's 50 days at the box office. Commenting on the same, Kartik told Pinkvilla, ""What more can an actor ask for, when his film is loved by all. Luka Chuppi is a family film, and I'm so happy that Guddu, Rashmi and their family have received so much love. The film not only made the youth happy, but even pulled in the families too to the ticket windows."

He further added, "I believed in the script and knew it was going to be an entertainer, but the love that the audience gave made it a clear winner. I am glad that Guddu has become everyone's favourite like Sonu."

Luka Chuppi, produced by Dinesh Vijan, managed to rake in a total of about Rs 114 crore worldwide, out of which about Rs 95 crore came from the domestic circuit. The movie is still running successfully in theatres. It'll be interesting to see if lke Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi too is able to make it to the coveted Rs 100 crore club. 

Meanwhile, apart from Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik also has Pati Patni Aur Woh remake up his sleeve. The actor stars along side Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the film.
