After ringing in her birthday in the scenic holiday destination of the Maldives, Kareena Kapoor Khan kickstarted the week on a high note, by hosting a party at her palatial home for designer Sanjay Mishra. The get-together by Kareena was attended by her favourite people including Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, her bestie Amrita Arora and sister Karisma Kapoor besides the designer himself.

As the B-town stars partied, some of them took to social media to share a glimpse of their glitzy night. While sharing a selfie from the bash that featured all six of them, Karisma Kapoor wrote, "Evenings like these…" and followed it up with a blue heart emoji. Alongside a series of photos on his Instagram handle, Manish wrote, "It’s a true blue selfie time tonight" and followed it up with a revolving heart and two-heart emojis, ​and the hashtag #friendforever. Kareena reposted some of the images in her Instagram Stories. Meanwhile, Amrita shared a picture of herself striking a pose on Kareena's sofa as Manish turned photographer for her. 

In the photos, while Kareena and Amrita are seen looking gorgeous in white, Karan, Manish and Karisma are seen donning all-black attires.

Kareena, Manish, Karisma, Amrita and Karan Johar are close friends. They have often been seen partying together and this was one of teh many occassions when the gang got together for a fun night. 

Last week, Kareena celebrated her 41st birthday with husband-actor Saif Ali Khan and sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan in the Maldives. She even shared a few photo giving fans a glimpse of her birthday celebrations.

On the work front, Kareena will be seen next in Advait Chandan directed 'Laal Singh Chaddha' opposite Aamir Khan. The film is the official Hindi a remake of the Tom Hanks starrer 'Forrest Gump'. As for its release, while it was slated to hit hit the theatres this Christmas, the makers have decided to push the film's release to February 14, 2022.
