From Masaan in 2015 to Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019, Vicky Kaushal has only gone on to become a better actor, and now, he has achieved the status of a star. In fact the actor now comes in leagues of Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.

The actor, who appeared opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the blockbuster hit Sanju last year, is now set to be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Takht. Post Sanju, Vicky Kaushal gained stardom like no other, which reached another level with Uri success at the beginning of 2019.

Vicky Kaushal undoubtedly is at a high in his career, and that, according to a report on Mumbai Mirror, has led the director of Takht Karan Johar to rethink his role. If the report is anything to go by then Karan Johar is rewriting Takht script in order to make Vicky Kaushal's role as meaty as Ranveer Singh's.

For the uninitiated, Vicky plays the role of Aurengzeb in the movie. Meanwhile Ranveer Singh would play his elder brother Dara Sikoh. The script is such that power-hungry Aurengzeb would kill Dara Sikoh in order to sit on the throne. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
