Two stages were built at the venue — one where the marriage rituals were being conducted and another which had Gurdas Maan performing. Ginni is a huge fan of the Punjabi singer and he has even appeared on Kapil’s show earlier.

The ceremony was mainly hosted by Punjabi actress Preeto while Krushna Abhishek gave a light-hearted touch to the proceedings with his funny banter. “The venue was beautifully decorated and the marriage ceremony was an intimate affair with family and close friends.

Kapil’s colleagues Bharti Singh, Harsh Limbachiyaa and Sumona Chakravarti were present. There was a lavish spread of food which included Punjabi, Chinese and Italian cuisine. The ceremony got over around 5 am,” informs a source.

Krushna says that they had a lot of fun and Kapil has a immense love and respect from people there. “I planned to to be here for two days, but now I am staying back for the reception also. Kapil’s family — his mother, sister and brother — is so sweet. Despite being busy, Kapil is always asking about us and taking care. I danced like a crazy person at the wedding. I am having a wonderful time.”

Today, the newlyweds will have a reception at Amritsar where Daler Mehndi will be performing.
