Kangana, who has been openly speaking about the "emotional lynching" of Sushant Singh Rajput in the film industry wrote, "What about @rajeevmasand? He wrote many blind items on SSR calling him a rapist, skirt chaser, overpaid outsider, drug addict? Just because he writes in English he is celebrated by you all, you can make KRK a punching bag but you don’t have the courage to call powerful people out!"

In continuation of her first tweet, Kangana wrote, "KRK never got acknowledgement from film industry, Rajeev Masand gets to do interviews with all big stars & also writes for national magazines & hosts shows on TV platforms, but fancy liberals find KRK threatening while ppl like Anupama & Masand continue to gang up on outsiders."

Later Hansal himself quoted Kangana's tweets and wrote, "You are so courageous and are always calling out powerful people who make a life out of bullying. Totally support that. I have made my strong views on blind items and people writing them known many times. They must be stopped. Am with you."

Kangana has been openly speaking about nepotism and "insider-outsider" esecially after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Her team, on their official Instagram page also posted video about Kangana speaking how Sushant Singh Rajput was treated by the media and the Bollywood industry at large.
