Kangana Ranaut shares her opinion on Agnipath scheme, writes ‘nations like Israel have made army training compulsory’

Kangana Ranaut has frequently spoken out on national problems, whether they are political or religious. The Dhaakad actress once again voiced her viewpoint and provided support for the much-discussed Agnipath scheme. Kangana shared a comment about the current uproar over the Center's most recent plan on her Instagram story.

She wrote, “Many nations like Israel have made army training compulsory for all their youth, few years every one gives to the army to learn life values like discipline, nationalism and what it means to guard your country's borders, #agnipathscheme has deeper meanings than just getting building careers, employment or making money…”

Kangana further contrasted the programme, which entails the contractual temporary recruitment of young soldiers, to the traditional method of sending the children to Gurukul.

She said, “In olden days everyone went to Gurukul its almost like that it's just that they getting paid to do it, shocking percentage of youth that's getting destroyed in drugs and pubG needs these reforms.. Appreciate the government for taking these initiatives.”

For the unversed, Under the new scheme, hiring has been proposed for a four-year period in the armed forces followed by compulsory retirement for at least 75 per cent of the personnel without any pension benefits.

On June 15, the Union Home Ministry also announced that the 'Agniveers' would get priority in recruitment to the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Assam Rifles.
