'Just look at the passion in his expression': Amitabh Bachchan remembers Rishi Kapoor with throwback pic

Amitabh Bachchan seemed to be devastated when Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 after a two-year-long battle with cancer but the veteran actor has found out ways to celebrate his friend and remember him fondly. Today, the actor shared a throwback picture in the memory of the late actor who was known in the film industry not only for his realistic acting and lip-syncing skills but for his larger than life personality. 

The picture is from a reality show where Rishi is seen in high spirits as he candidly performs to one of his popular songs, probably to Parda Hai Parda from the film, Amar Akbar Anthony. Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan can also be seen in the frame with him. 

Sharing the picture on his official Instagram account, Amitabh wrote, "No one but no one could lip-sync a song as perfectly as Rishi Kapoor .. just look at the passion in his expression .. !! Even at this age and at an event the genuineness .. simply unbeatable."

While Rishi is seen sitting on the floor to do justice to the dance step, Amitabh’s actor son Abhishek and Karan are also seen joining him on stage.

On the work front, Amitabh is currently enjoying the reviews his film Gulabo Sitabo is getting from audiences, critics, and fellow members of the film industry. The film which got a direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime is available to watch since June 12. Directed by Soojit Sircar, written by Juhi Chaturvedi, the film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana opposite Amitabh in the lead role.
