Juhi Chawla takes a trip down memory lane in major throwback video from 1987 show ‘Bahadur Shah Zafar’ - watch

Juhi Chawla has been in the film industry for over three decades now and she is still loved and adored by fans. The actress ruled Hindi cinema in the 90s and early 2000s with her bubbly and lively charm. On Sunday (September 19), Juhi went down the memory lane and shared a major throwback post.

In the video, Juhi can be seen dressed in traditional attire for a guest appearance on the TV show ‘Bahadur Shah Zafar’ directed by B R Chopra, Ravi Chopra. Sharing her memories of the shoot, Juhi said that she was extremely nervous and kept forgetting her lines, however, Ravi Chopra helped her calm down and relax.

“Throwback Alert !B R Chopra ji’s serial where they gave me an important guest appearance. It was a 1 day shoot, I remember I was very very new & sooo nervous that during the shot I kept forgetting my lines . Ravi Chopraji was directing & he didn’t lose his patience even once, kept telling me to be calm .. to relax .. he was very kind,” Juhi wrote in the caption.

“Further , I’d like to thank @bestofjuhi who dug this clip up.After this shoot which may have been way back in 1987, I never ever saw it & today is the first time after alllllll these years …and I’m amazed i could say these lines..or even express i have no idea what i did … and what Chopraji saw in me , why he cast me …. and now…… i see it … TV Serial : Bahadur Shah Zafar #brchopra #brchoprafilms #ravichopra,” she concluded.

Reacting to the video, filmmaker Farah Khan commented, “N u still looking the same juhiiii.” Fans were also in awe of the actress and showered her with love and praise. “You are so beautiful,” wrote one user while another commented, “you’ve always been a queen.” A third user quipped, “Slaying it since the beginning,” while a fourth one wrote, “Forever beautiful and your voice.”

After winning the Miss India pageant in 1984, Juhi made her Bollywood debut in 1986 with ‘Sultanat’. She got her big breakthrough in 1988 with ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ opposite Aamir Khan for which she won heaps of praise.

Juhi was last seen in the film 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ in 2019 and will soon be seen in ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ which also stars late Rishi Kapoor.
