Social media went crazy few months ago Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan and Juhi Chawla’s daughter Jahnavi Mehta were spotted together at the Kolkata Knight Riders’ table during the IPL auction.
Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla worked together in several films and the duo then jointly launched a production house, Dreamz Films Unlimited, in 2013. The production house, however, failed to taste success but the two Bollywood superstars along with Juhi’s husband Jai Mehta joined hands to buy IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
SRK and Juhi were seen regularly at the IPL auction every year but the KKR fans were surprised to see Aryan and Jahnavi together at this year's IPL auction.
How did Juhi feel seeing the next generation taking up their responsibility? “Many little things come to mind,” the actor said, adding, “One was, how amazing is nature! In a glimpse, Aryan looked like a young Shah Rukh and Jahnavi resembled me so much!”
Juhi Chawla added that both Jahnavi and Aryan love cricket and they understand the game very well. “I was so glad the children are taking a keen interest in the team. They are not being pushed to do this, they are doing it because they truly wish to. They both keenly follow the sport. Jahnavi wakes up at odd hours of the night, to watch cricket matches in different parts of the world,” Juhi told a leading portal.
“When Jahnavi discusses cricket, her whole being lights up. I am always shocked at how aware of the technicalities of the sport she is. When I saw the picture of the two of them at the auction, I was so grateful to God that in their own unique way, and with their own free will, our children had taken over, what we had started…,” she added.
It is to be noted that Jahnavi prefers to stay away from limelight but seevral reports have surfaced in the recent past claiming that Aryan is going to join Bollywood.
