Judwaa actor Vivan Bhatena heads for Tollywood

Vivan Bhatena of Khatron Ke Khiladi and Dangal fame, who took on two Varun Dhawans in  Judwaa 2, as the main villian, is all set to make a prominent Tollywood debut with Dil Raju’s forthcoming film, Raja The Great, “It is a formidable character and almost on par with the main protagonist played by south superstar, Ravi Teja. 

The film is produced by Dil Raju, who is a reckoned name in Tollywood and is revered as the Yashraj of Tollywood. His last film, DJ Duvvvada Jagannadham completely swept the box-office this year. The banner has had some big releases this year,” Vivan revealed.

The actor, who was last seen taking on Aamir Khan in Dangal, insists that his character in Raja The Great is one of a kind, “It is a very interesting character of a person who is affected with a bipolar disorder, who exhibits totally diverse shades of his personality on different occasions. He shares a wonderful relationship with his father but his character acquires an amazing twist on the other side. He switches in seconds. It is psychotic and weird. I have never seen a similar character in any other film,” he says, adding that he had a great experience shooting with Ravi Teja, “He is spontaneous and a very talented actor. It was a pleasure working with him,” Vivan says.

Vivan who enjoys action, had a tough time when he took on Varun Dhawan and was badly injured while shooting certain scenes for Judwaa 2, “I performed the action scenes without a double. In one such scene I had to jump over Varun and ended up cracking my neck badly, when I landed on my neck. I was bed-ridden for a couple of days. There were also a few stunts on a BM bicycle which were formidable but the stunt directors in London, were very generous and helped me out,” he says.
