Janhvi Kapoor undergoes physical transformation for IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena biopic - Check out her then and now photo

Janhvi Kapoor is set to follow up the success of her debut film 'Dhadak' with the biopic on Gunjan Saxena, Indian Air Force’s first female combat pilot, who took part in the Kargil War in 1999.

Though an official announcement on the film is still awaited, Janhvi has already begun work on the film and if her latest pictures are any indication then the slender actress seems to be gaining weight for the role. If a Pinkvilla report is to be believed, then the actress is supposed to gain some six to seven kilos before the film goes on floors in March. 

The actress will also be taking flying lessons for the movie. Recently, Janhvi's look as a pilot went viral on social media.

For the uninitiated, Gunjan Saxena helped in evacuating injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999. Despite her helicopter being on fire, Gunjan and lieutenant Srividya Rajan, managed to bring the soldiers home.
