Ayushmann Khurrana has been impressing Bollywood buffs with every film he signs. The actor has been called as the 'King of unconventional roles', for picking up characters like a sperm donor in Vicky Donor, a man suffering from erectile dysfunction in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, a blind piano player in Andhadhun to name a few. Last year in the month of December, Ayushmann announced his upcoming project Dream Girl. In the poster, the talented actor is seen donning a yellow saree with glass bangles, slippers and sitting on a scooter.

When a portal asked Ayushmann to spill the beans about his character in this quirky film, the actor stated, "Dream Girl is really unique, really interesting because I get to wear a saree in the film. It’s about a guy who plays Sita in Ram Leela. Traditionally, in our country, we have all seen guys playing Sita, so I’m one of those. He has the unique talent of taking out voices of both male and female. It’s like a full-on commercial film."

Talking about Dream Girl, the film is being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. In the film, Ayushmann will be seen romancing Nushrat Bharucha and it's their first outing together. The release date for Dream Girl is yet to be announced. The film has been extensively shot in Mathura and Mumbai.

Last year, Ayushmann had two blockbuster films - Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho directed by Amit Sharma. On the other hand, Nushrat also starred in an unforgettable hit film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
