Fans have eagerly been anticipating the release of ‘Bell Bottom,' starring Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor. The film's poster, on the other hand, has sparked some debate.
The makers unveiled a new poster displaying the actors before the release of the first song, 'Marjaawaan.' While the film has been in the spotlight since its debut, the new poster is grabbing attention for a different reason. Diet Sabya, a digital creator on Instagram, posted a photo claiming that Akshay Kumar's new Bell Bottom poster is a rip-off of a Sri Lankan influencer's photo.

Diet Sabya's post quickly went viral. Netizens chastised Bell Bottom's creators for the poster's resemblance to the Instagram influencer's famous photo.
For the unversed, 'Bell Bottom,' a spy thriller based on the early 1980s airline hijackings that rocked India. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was in power at the time, will be played by Lara. In the film, Vaani will play Akshay's wife.
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi and is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. Producers include Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani.
'Bellbottom' will be released on August 19th, 2021.
