Irrfan Khan's 'Angrezi Medium' to have this talented actor in a special cameo

Irrfan Khan is shooting for his upcoming film Angrezi Medium in full swing in Rajasthan. The movie is a sequel to his 2017 hit film Hindi Medium and marks the actor's return to the movies post his treatment for the neuroendocrine tumour. Apart from Irrfan, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal in a pivotal role and both the actors are shooting in the busy streets of Udaipur from the past one week. Irrfan even shared his first look from the film and his character is named Champakji.

Now, a new addition has been made to the cast of the Angrezi Medium. Yes, we are talking about Pankaj Tripathi, who has been roped in to play a special cameo in Irrfan's film. When asked about the project, Pankaj sweetly replied, "It is my love and respect for Irrfan and my friendship with Dinoo [Dinesh Vijan] that made me say yes."

When Dinesh was asked about roping in Pankaj for the film, he stated, "He is my lucky mascot. He’s a huge admirer of Irrfan and was happy to lend himself in a small way."

Earlier when Dinoo was quizzed about Irrfan's first day on the sets of Angrezi Medium, he said, "Irrfan is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. When he gave his first shot everyone around got emotional. For me, it was one of those life-defining moments working with him again after 'Hindi Medium'. Having him and Homi Adajania together was something all three of us have always wanted."

Apart from Irrfan and Deepak, Angrezi Medium also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan.
