Deepika Padukone celebrated her birthday in Lucknow with not only the acid-attack survivors aka Sheroes but the actress was also accompanied by husband Ranveer Singh. A video of Ranveer and Deepika heading towards the airport and being greeted with a birthday cake went viral, and now photos and videos from her celebrations in Lucknow have been making rounds of the internet.
Deepika was greeted with many birthday cakes including a three-tier one, while she was celebrating her day with the acid-attack survivors in Lucknow. Not just Deepika, the acid-attack survivors also pampered Ranveer Singh with a piece of cake from their hands.
An overzealous Ranveer grabbed Deepika's Chhapaak co-star Vikrant Massey shoulder as he sang 'happy birthday' along with the acid-attack survivors. Deepika also received some plants as a birthday gift. She kept laughing throughout the birthday wishes and thanked everyone. Ranveer even gave Deepika a hug as Vikrant, director Meghna Gulzar and acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal went aww looking at them.

Deepika Padukone replays the life story of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and what happened to her after the incident, as Malti in Chhapaak. Vikrant Massey plays her lover in the Meghna Gulzar directorial. The movie releases on January 10, 2020, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
