In pics: Kartik Aaryan overwhelmed with the warm welcome from his hometown Gwalior as he begins 'Luka Chuppi' shoot

Kartik Aaryan is back to where he belongs and this time it is not the same! The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor who is from Gwalior, is all set to begin shooting for Luka Chuppi in his hometown. 

The actor who’s born and brought up in Gwalior couldn’t control his excitement when he learnt about the first schedule of the film being shot in the his town, but he was pleasantly surprised to see that people from the city of royals were more excited to see him.

On August 1 when Kartik landed in his hometown, he was amazed to see his posters everywhere, staring right at him and giving him a warm welcome. Already elated on being received so well, the actor could not contain his happiness when his fans greeted him with garlands and bouquets at the UKP Main Gate in the city. The humble person that he is, Kartik Aaryan loving accepted the flowers and even posed for selfies.

Taken aback by the love and affection showered on him at his hometown, Kartik was going bonkers. This was a proud moment for both him and his parents.But what really touched the rising star was the fact that some special students from a blind school were present there to welcome him with a performance on his hit songs.

A visually impiared girl even sang for him, and this really made Kartik's day!

Kartik Aaryan will be in Gwalior for 50 days along with his co-star Kriti Sanon.  On day one of the shoot, Kartik posted a picture of himself with co-star Kriti Sanon and captioned it, "And Luka Chuppi Starts Day 1 @kritisanon @laxman.utekar @maddockfilms #Dineshvijjan #LukaChuppi"

Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, Luka Chuppi will see Kartik essaying the role of a local TV reporter.
