Akshay Kumar is reuniting with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Karan Johar's next titled 'Good News'
Akshay Kumar has a 'Good News' for his fans! The actor on August 2 announced the title of his upcoming film. Titled Good News, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and will be produced by Karan Johar.
The Rustom actor took to his Instagram handle and shared the title announcement poster of the film.He captioned the poster, “Good News! That’s the name of our film and so is the news I am sharing :) It is a ‘dramedy’ Due Date 19th July, 2019 #GoodNews @karanjohar @apoorva1972 #KareenaKapoorKhan @diljitdosanjh @kiaraaliaadvani #RajMehta @shashankkhaitan @dharmamovies #CapeOfGoodFilms”
Karan too took to his Twitter and announced the 'Good News' too.

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan have done several films together, including Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan and Aitraaz. Meanwhile, it’ll be Diljit’s second outing with Kareena post Udta Punjab.
According to IANS, Good News is a laugh riot, family drama in which Akshay and Kareena will be seen as a married couple, trying to have a baby. The film will have Diljit and Kiara, playing another Punjabi married couple trying for a baby as well.
During the IMAX trailer and poster launch of Gold in Mumbai on August 1, Akshay was asked whether it was his conscious decision to do content-driven films. As part of his reply, the actor disclosed a little something about Good News.
He said, as quoted by The Indian Express, “I am doing Good News and there are many other things which I am doing which does not have anything to do with social cause.”
While Kareena returned to films with Veere Di Wedding this year, Diljit Dosanjh made a striking goal at the box office in the role of hockey player Sandeep Singh in sports biopic Soorma.
Kiara Advani, on the other hand, has been making headlines after she featured in the anthology film Lust Stories opposite Vicky Kaushal. Good News will be directed by Raj Mehta and is slated to release on July 19, 2019.
