Alia Bhatt has quite an interesting line up of films up her sleeve. The actress will soon be seen sharing the screen space with Salman Khan for the first time ever, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial titled Inshallah. The film, which is supposed to be a love story reunites Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after quite a long time as well.

When asked about how she reacted on getting to know that she has been cast opposite Salman Khan in SLB's Inshallah, Alia Bhatt told an entertainment portal, "I literally remember myself jumping. I was not in town, I was out of the country and I was doing something and I got a call and I was like.. literally I ran to the corner and I jumped up and down for 5 minutes because I was so excited."

Though Alia Bhatt is quite excited about Inshallah and her pairing with Salman Khan, the actress got a lot of flak for the age difference between her and Salman. Reacting to the same, Alia further shared, "I didn’t get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn’t there be speculation. There should be and at least I am not bothered by that and I don’t think Salman or Bhansali sir are bothered. I think this is a filmmaker who has given us very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision."

Meanwhile, apart from Inshallah, Alia's slate of upcoming films include Brahmashtra with Ranbir Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2, Karan Johar's Takht and SS Rajamouli's RRR.
