'I open my hotel in Juhu for all the healthcare workers': Sonu Sood does his bit in fight against coronavirus

Sonu Sood via his social media pages has announced that he has opened his hotel in Juhu for all the healthcare workers. His note read as "In the tough times that we have been living and to support the national heroes who have been working tirelessly day and night, I open my hotel in Juhu for all the healthcare workers."

The actor also wrote, "Considering the mammoth duty these heroes are doing right now, this is the least we can do for them. We are all in this together, let's all come forward and support them."

Talking about the same, Sonu shared to Bombay Times, "It’s my honour to be able to do my bit for the doctors, nurses and para-medical staff of our country, who have been working day and night to save people’s lives. They hail from different parts of Mumbai and need a place to rest. We have already approached municipal and private hospitals and informed them about the facility."

A few days back, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)'s official Twitter page wrote, "We thank @iamsrk & @gaurikhan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our Quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women & elderly. Indeed a thoughtful & timely gesture!

Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment posted the tweet on their Twitter page and captioned it stating, "Support makes everyone stronger. And in our fight against COVID-19, we need each other’s support as a society. Let’s help each other more, and win this fight collectively! @iamsrk @gaurikhan @mybmc @mybmcWardHW #Covid19 #StrongerTogether".
