Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be returning to Hindi movies after three years. The actor, who made a mark in the West with her TV show, Quantico, was last seen in Hindi film Jai Gangaajal directed by Prakash Jha and released in 2016. In these three years, our Desi Girl starred in three Hollywood films namely Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake and the latest being Isn't It Romantic. She even found love there and tied the knot with Nick Jonas in grand wedding ceremonies.

Talking about her upcoming Hindi film, the talented actor will be seen in The Sky Is Pink co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. When a tabloid asked PeeCee about the film, she stated, "Though the film is about parents losing their child to an incurable disease, it's a unique take on death — one that celebrates people's lives instead of mourning their death. It was a challenge to go from 22 to 60 after 7 Khoon Maaf (2011). I was able to sink my teeth in the part."

Priyanka even spoke about returning to Hindi movies. "I have missed the madness of Hindi movies. I don't look at it as a choice between Hollywood and Bollywood, it's the magic of movies. The first thing I did after Quantico was a Hindi movie. My career in both countries is dear to me, and as long as people want to watch me, I'll stay!" the actor added.

The Sky Is Pink is directed by Shonali Bose and is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
