Actor Hrithik Roshan who essays the role of a Bihari in his next film Super 30, wished his fans and followers on Chhath Puja, a festival which is primarily celebrated in Bihar.

Hrithik, who was earlier unaware, but now, only after prepping up for his Bihari character in the film, understood the significance of the festival.

The actor took to his Twitter and posted a video where he can be seen shooting all the people celebrating Chhath Puja outside his residence. 

Hrithik tweeted saying, "It happens right in front of my home.I was always curious n intrigued by d scale n enthusiasm of this festival. Now,after playing a Bihari, I know about d significance of Chhath Puja. My deep respect 4 those who keep this fast n I wish everyone a happy n soul cleansing Chhath Puja".

Last year too Hrithik Roshan had tweeted wishing everyone by saying, "Every year I would see huge devotional crowds on d beach. This year I understand d significance of chatt puja better! Happy chat puja 2 u all".

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will next be seen in Super 30 and YRF's next untitled project.

With Super 30, Hrithik is all set to play the character of Indian mathematician and teacher Anand Kumar

For the uninitiated, Anand Kumar is the founder of Super 30, an educational programme where 30 meritorious students from low-income backgrounds are chosen and trained to get into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

The film is slated to release on January 25, 2019
