How Seema Pahwa is being different while playing a mother on screen

Seema Pahwa has played a mother in four films — Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Aankhon Dekhi, Bareilly Ki Barfi and now Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

Unlike previous Bollywood mothers, she doesn’t follow a prototype.

In a recent interview, she said, “I believe that every individual is different from the other. So when I’m playing a mother, I want to make sure that all of them are different characters. Why should I play the same person all the time? I have my mother and my mother-in-law, who are extremely different, so that’s how I look at my roles, too.”

Nevertheless, she’s undoubtedly one of the most favourite mothers on the screen right now!
