How Rishi Kapoor reinvented himself in the recent times

Rishi Kapoor, who recently wrapped up the Chandigarh schedule of Smeep Kang’s entertainer Jhootha Kahin Ka, begins shooting for Malayalam director Jeetu Joseph’s Hindi debut. A remake of the Spanish film, The Body, the suspense thriller also stars Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala. 

Kapoor, who sports a salt-and-pepper bearded look in both films, was initially to start Joseph’s film with a long spell in Mauritius. However, the schedule was pushed ahead and the thriller rolls in Mumbai. After completing the portion in the city, the entire team will soon head to Mauritius, where the entire shoot will be completed. 

For someone who played a romantic hero for a considerable part of his innings, the way Kapoor has reinvented himself is a treat going by the diverse characters he has portrayed in the recent years. The actor, whose latest release, 102 Not Out, wowed the critics and audiences alike, not only has some interesting films lined up, but is also on top of the minds of several filmmakers.
