Taapsee Pannu recently sat down for a chat with Kareena Kapoor Khan for her radio show and spoke her heart out about films, her career and more. Taapsee who is currently at a career-high as the looks of two of her films, Shabaash Mithu, a biopic on former cricket captain for Women's Cricket Team and Thappad, directed by Anubhav Sinha, based on her character's fight against domestic violence.
The actress has had quite a career graph and has managed to work with some of the industry's biggest stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar. However, in a recent chat show with Kareena, Taasee revealed that she is scared of rejecting films with A-listers as one doesn't know how they may perceive it.
"It can be unsafe. Actually, the fear of rejecting a film opposite a star is that they might perceive it wrongly. If they are a very big star, they should not think that I have turned it down because I have something personal against them. Once or twice in the past, just to be ‘safe, after I turned a film down, I went out of my way to tell the person the reason behind it. The ones who were accessible, that is. The ones who were not accessible, I have no idea how they perceived it because I never got a chance to find out."
On the work front, Taapsee and Pavail Gulati starrer Thappad is all set to release on February 28, 2020. The film's trailer was released today and received positive feedback from both critics and audiences.
