Here's what the unique name of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay and wife Priya Sachdev's newborn means

It is indeed going to be a happy new year for actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur and his now wife Priya Sachdev as the two turned parents yet again, earlier this week. 

After being married for 11 years, Karisma and Sunjay parted ways in 2014, after which the latter tied the knot with Priya last year in a grand ceremony on April 13.

It wasn't until a few months ago that Priya's pregnancy news surfaced online and stunned everyone. 

After the happy news, the couple threw a baby shower a few weeks ago, and have now elcomed their first born this week.

The couple turned parents to a baby boy. 

And for all those who are wondering what Sunjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev have named their little munchkin, the couple have named him Azarius, a Pinkvilla report revealed. 

Something different, isn’t it? 

Well, just like the name, the meaning is also special. 

Azarius is a Hebrew name which means ‘God has helped.’ 

Looks like, both Sunjay and Priya have put a lot of thought into the name and we love it! 

While Azarius is the couple’s first baby together, Sunjay is also a father of two children with Karisma. The ex-couple are parents to Samaira and Kiaan. 

Following the divorce, Karisma was granted the custody of the children while Sunjay has permission to visit the children.

Priya Sachdev, on the other hand, was married to hotelier Vikram Chatwal. The duo have a daughter together, Safira.

For the uninitiated, Sunjay and Priya met on a flight and dated for five years before they tied the knot. 

Sharing her loves story, Priya had once said, “During the flight, we realised that neither of us was what our public perception had been made out to be. The barrier of those misconceptions came down and we kept in touch.”
