The actor shared a picture where he is seen sitting all by himself near sarovar at night with the beautifully lit up Golden Temple in the background. Akshay's captions echoed his happiness as he wrote,  “A chance visit to the Golden Temple, listening to the Gurbani and watching the world go by. Only word that comes to mind now: SURREAL. #blessed,” Akshay posted on Twitter on Tuesday. And if you are wondering how come the actor managed to sit in peace without being bothered by fans for pictures or autographs, considering the Golden Temple has thousands of visitors every day of the year. Then look at the picture closely, Akki is smartly hiding in all black attire with a hood on his head and even a mask to cover his face. If that wasn't enough the actor even went for a darshan late into the night at around 3am.

Generally Golden Temple makes special arrangements for celebrity visits who want to offer prayers without being mobbed but as per Hindustan Times reports Akshay Kumar denied it. According to HT report a source said, “Akshay didn’t opt for any such special treatment. He was of the opinion that to seek blessings, one must follow the correct path. So, he put on a mask and beanie cap and entered the temple just like others, with just one person from his team accompanying him. This meant risking getting identified and mobbed, but Akshay was willing to take that risk.”

The actor's films have been doing well and 'Gold' and 'Padman' lined up for release in 2018. He is also set to return to telly with  “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” soon but not without seeking divine intervention.
