Has Prateik Babbar-Sanya Sagar's marriage hit a rough patch after a year?

A year after tying the knot, it seems like Prateik Babbar and wife Sanya Sagar's relationship has hit a rough patch. The couple has unfollowed each other on Instagram and the Mulk actor has also deleted photos with Sanya from his Instagram page. They had got engaged in 2018, and the very next year, they tied the knot as per Maharashtrian rituals. However, Sanya has been conspicuous by her absence at get-together events of the Babbar family.

The last post seen on Sanya's Instagram page with Prateik is from September 2019. When Spotboye quizzed Prateik about the rumoured separation, the actor stated, "Nothing like that".

Earlier while talking about Sanya post their engagement, Prateik had told Mumbai Mirror, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd, but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."

While remembering his mother late actor Smita Patil, Prateik also said, "I constantly feel her presence, she is my guardian angel and guiding force."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Prateik was earlier seen in Rajinikanth starrer Darbar. He was also seen in Nitish Tiwari's Chhichhore alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin among others.
