On his birthday, Sidharth Malhotra had quite a surprise planned for his fans with the 'Shershaah' first look posters. The actor is stepping into the shoes of Captain Vikram Batra and the first look posters featuring him in the role of a soldier have been unveiled.
Sidharth, who turned 35-year-old, aces the look of Param Vir Chakra awardee, Captain Vikram Batra, in the three new posters which have been unveiled. While two posters are a close-up of the actor, one poster sees him lead the army away from the affected site. Alongside the posters, Sidharth also revealed that the movie is slated for July 3, 2020 release.
Sharing the posters, Sidharth wrote, "An absolute honor to be able to paint the big screen with the shades of bravery & sacrifice. Paying an ode to the journey of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and bringing the UNTOLD TRUE STORY with #Shershaah. Releasing 3rd July 2020."

Kiara Advani plays the lead role opposite Sidharth in Shershaah. Helmed by Vishnuvardhan, the movie is produced by Karan Johar and Shabbir Boxwala.
Sidharth was last seen in Marjaavaan opposite Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani gained fame with her role in Kabir Singh opposite Shahid Kapoor, which was the second-highest-grossing film of 2019.
