In an interview to DNA After Hrs, Karan Johar gave out details of his next directorial venture after 'Ae DIl Hai Mushkil' in 2016. "I am living my wish by taking this long-haul flight and short vacation where I can give myself some me time. I hope to come back refreshed and rejuvenated.  I’m excited about the break and I am also excited that I have finalised the script for my next directorial venture that should roll next year. I’ll cast for my new film after returning from New York."
