MS Dhoni, one of the most loved and revered former Indian skipper celebrates his 39th birthday today. However, many might not know that the first look poster of his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story starring Sushant Singh Rajput was released on July 7, 2016, four years back.
For the uninformed, the film was supposed to be released on September 2 but was moved to September 30 release. The poster of the film was shared by Fox Star Studios who wrote, "A story that you simply cannot miss. Here’s the official poster of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story! #HappyBirthdayMahi."
At the time, reel life Dhoni, Sushant, had also taken the opportunity to wish real-life Dhoni on his 35th birthday in 2016.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story starred Kiara Advani, Herry Tangri, Anupam Kher, Bhoomika Chawla, and Disha Patani apart from Sushant. While Kiara played the role of Sakshi Singh Dhoni, Herry Tangri played Yuvraj Singh and Anupam Kher was seen as Dhoni's father Pan Singh. The trailer of the movie was released on March 9, just when Dhoni and his team were playing for ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
MS Dhoni is India's best skipper across all formats under whom India has lifted two ICC World Cups (ODI & T20) and an ICC Champions Trophy.
