Guess who: Yet another singer is ready to make his acting debut

He was last seen on the big screen in a guest appearance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and now singer Adnan Sami is all set to make his acting debut. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru's next film Afghan will see Adnan in the role of a musician who is on an adventure trip which takes him back to his Afghani roots and much more. But his fans don't need to worry as his not giving up on his musical career. In an interview to a news daily, Adnan Sami said, "Music won't take a backseat beacuse it is second nature to me. Right now my focus is Afghan. I am not just acting in it, I am also composing seven songs for the film." Adnan Sami shared the big news on twitter sharing his look in the film and seeking his fans blessings.

The trend of singers turning actors isn't new...Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Himesh Reshammiya, Lucky Ali and many others have done it in the past. But only Kishore Kumar is remembered for his acting skills and vocals in the same breath. Adnan Sami has proven he is not camera shy, as in his music videos when he shared screen space with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan. The singer who has taken so well to his new role of a father,hopefully will shine through in his acting debut as well.
