Walde also revealed that ‘Raees’ actor Shah Rukh Khan has asked the camera to not stop rolling even in his absence.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t stepped out for shoots after his son Aryan Khan’s arrest in a drug case. However, that doesn’t mean his shoot for the film ‘Pathan’ has come to a halt. Instead, his body double, Prashant Walde, is busy shooting portions of SRK’s film with Atlee, and some other commercials.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Walde confirmed that the shooting of the film with Atlee is going as per plan. He is shooting SRK’s projects for last 20 days. He said, “I have been shooting these projects for the last 20 days, and that hasn’t changed after recent developments.” He further added that SRK’s absence is the only change on the set these days. The stand-in actor is all set to go to Spain for the next schedule of the upcoming movie ‘Pathan’.
Walde also revealed that ‘Raees’ actor Shah Rukh Khan has asked the camera to not stop rolling even in his absence. He also mentioned that SRK understands how delays in the shoot can affect the income of other crew members.
While talking about the difficulties and challenges they faced, he said, “Our work has resumed after so many difficulties after the lockdown. For Shah Rukh sir, the show must go on.” He also added that whole team from South is already here for the shoot of the film. “Aur unke kaam ke saath lakhon logon ka rozgaar juda hai, aur yeh SRK sir ko bhi maloom hai. That’s why he hasn’t asked us to stop working, isiliye kaam phele jaise chalu hai,” told Prashant Walde. He has been working with the superstar for the last 15 years.
While talking about everyone’s mood on the set, he said, “We’re all trying to be professional, but we’re disturbed from inside ke achha kaam chal raha tha, SRK sir ke saath yeh kya problem ho gayi. But for us, he’s always right, and we trust him completely because we’re able to survive today only because of him.”
Wadle further added, “We all have got our visas, but don’t know when we will fly out, and whether SRK sir will join us or not. In fact, I don’t know when he’ll get back on the set. But, we’re sure that whatever he decides, will be best for all of us.”
However, Aryan Khan is unlikely to walk out of jail before next week. Meanwhile, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde has defended him and said that Aryan has been arrested on the basis of chats. The investigating officer has also mentioned that no drugs were found on Aryan Khan.
