Sara Ali Khan made her acting debut with Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput
With her brilliant performance in her debut film Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan is being lauded by critics and audience alike.
Not only are Sara's fans and followers mesmerised by her acting chops, but even her father Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan are floored by the young actress' role, who is already gearing up for her next.
In the middle of all this, a Mid-Day report has stated that Kareena is planning on throwing a party for Sara's superb debut performance.
"Kareena is planning to host a get-together next week. She was impressed with Sara's powerful performance in Kedarnath. With an impending entertainer in Simmba, Kareena thinks Sara has been judicious with her choice of movies and has the potential to make it big in the industry," a source told the daily.
"Kareena Kapoor Khan will invite her and Saif's close friends to the party. She will personally be overseeing the arrangements for the bash," the source added.
Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan were recently seen sharing a couch on the celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan season 6.
The father-daughter duo talked about their equation with Kareena and Amrita Singh on the show.
During the course of their conversation, Sara revealed how her mother had dressed her up for Saif and Kareena's wedding and how Saif had a hand-written letter sent to Amrita just before he was going to get married to Kareena.
While Kedarnath is a love story between a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy (Sushant Singh Rajput), set against the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods, Sara's next Simmba is directed by Rohit Shetty.
The film which also stars Ranveer Singh as a cop, and will hit theatres on December 28.
