To give a perfect ode to the spirit of friendship, makers of the highly anticipated Pan-India film, 'RRR' unveiled the very first song from the film, titled ‘Dosti' on the occasion of Friendship Day 2021. The film is helmed by the ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli.

Taking to their social media, SS Rajamouli shared, "This Friendship day, witness the coming together of 2 powerful opposing forces - Ramaraju & Bheem #Dosti Music Video: https://t.co/uK5ltoe7Fq @MMKeeravaani @itsvedhem @anirudhofficial @ItsAmitTrivedi @IAMVIJAYYESUDAS #YazinNizar @TSeries @LahariMusic #RRRMovie #Natpu #Priyam"

The song highlights the camaraderie between the lead actors. The period drama is a fictional tale of the younger days of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. The song is sung by Amit Trivedi.

In June, makers of 'RRR' shared that the shoot of the film has nearly wrapped and only two songs are yet to be shot. The makers had earlier revealed that the film's theme song will bring together India's finest singers from across all industries. The music rights of RRR have been bagged by music giants - Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Lahari Music.

‘RRR’ has an ensemble cast from multiple industries such as Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. Alia will play the role of Sita and her first look from the film broke the internet back in March.

A fictional take on the lives of celebrated Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, 'RRR' has been shot across locations in Hyderabad, where massive sets have been erected to take the audience to another era. RRR's production and post-production are taking place at the same time.

Produced by DVV Danayya, the much-awaited Pan-India film will have a worldwide release on the festive occasion of Dussehra (October 13) this year. The magnum opus is set for a release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada amongst many other languages.
