A case has been registered against Shabana Azmi's driver following her road accident on Mumbai-Pune expressway on Saturday. Shabana's car had rammed into a truck. In wake of the accident, the truck driver filed a complaint of rash driving against the driver Amlesh Kamar.
The truck driver mentioned that Shabana Azmi's driver was rash driving due to which the car hit the moving truck on Pune-Mumbai expressway. The truck driver filed the accident report in Khalapur, confirmed ANI.
The news wire agency tweeted, "An FIR has been registered against Amlesh Kamat, driver of Shabana Azmi in Khalapur on a complaint filed by truck driver. The FIR reads,"due to rash driving by the driver, the car hit the moving truck on Pune-Mumbai Expressway which resulted in the accident.""

Javed Akhtar was travelling with Shabana Azmi in the car. He is safe but Shabana suffered injuries on her nose and is undergoing treatment in MGM hospital for the same. Many celebrities and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi prayed for Shabana to get well soon.
