Summers have become the most popular time for weddings due to beach-friendly weather, blooming flowers, a holiday mood, and more. However finding the right balance between traditional outfits and comfort in this intense season could become a mammoth task. But, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar seem to have got it all sorted.
Farhan was Shibani's plus one at her friend's wedding over the week and the actor-singer recently took to Instagram to share a stunning picture of himself with Shibani. Farhan blended desi with hippy as he paired his sunnies and headband with his classic black and white bandhgala while Shibani posed in pretty pastels.
In a separate post on her Instagram, Shibani shared the details of her stunning lehenga in a post in which she can be seen twinning with her BFF Monica Dogra. Both Shibani and Monica "are the happiest" in Payal Singhal lehengas.
Farhan had revealed earlier than he wasn't too comfortable with social-media PDA, but with Shibani, it felt "natural." "I have never felt comfortable to share personal stuff... But I don't know why, I just feel that somehow, with the celebrating of this, it seems very natural to me. Obviously, you don't want to go crazy and people are like, 'Please, bas karo!'"
"But yeah, it feels kind of nice to be able to share that with people. Because we are always living so sheltered and protected and our guards are constantly up, especially when it comes to people like our partners. It felt nicer to just share and include them in the joy and let them hopefully feel happy. Some might feel a bit jealous that she is with me and not with them," he quipped.
If rumours are to be believed, the couple will most likely tie the knot by the end of this year.
