Cinema has power, truly, as it refuses to see borders, languages, religious barriers. In a recent interview with WION, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of China (Taiwan), Joseph Wu spoke candidly about Indian films that are popular in Taiwan.

Wu said, "Indian films are very popular in Taiwan."

Calling SS Rajamouli's epic 'Baahubali' his personal favourite film, Wu said, "Every time I see 'Baahubali' movie on TV, I tell my wife not to turn the channel, because I want to finish watching it again. I don't know how many times I've watched it. It is so fun to watch an Indian movie."

Wu also mentioned Aamir Khan's Dangal and later actor Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium and said that both the films are also very popular in Taiwan. "There are countless of Indian movies that are being shown here in Taiwan. We are thinking of having an Indian film festival here in Taiwan right now," revealed Wu.

In addition to this, in an exclusive interview with WION, Wu also spoke of China’s authoritarianism and why recent military threats and skirmishes with its neighbours are a distraction from domestic upheavals brewing within the country among other issues.

Meanwhile, talking about Prabhas and Baahubali, the actor is celebrating his birthday today. Actor Prabhas turns 41-year-old today. After being a popular face in the Telugu film industry, the 'darling' of his many fans has gone on to make a mark all across India.

While the world is still fighting coronavirus and going out of work, there was no stopping Prabhas. He announced three projects during the lockdown, all of which are in the works already - either shooting or pre-production.

Not very long ago, Prabhas unveiled the new look from his romantic drama film 'RadheShyam'. While the storyline of the film is not clear, it is believed to be a modern-day love story, featuring Pooja Hegde, set in new-age Europe.

Although 'RadheShyam' has got many of his fans excited, Prabhas did not stop there. He has also been signed for the film based on modern-age Ramayana called 'AdiPurush'. The actor, as expected, plays a protagonist in the movie, while actor Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist in it.
