Diljit Dosanjh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and they discussed music and India. They even paid respect to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and PM Modi also joined him.
After concluding his popular Dil-Luminati Tour, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi shared a reel of their candid chat on his Instagram, and captioned it, "A very memorable interaction! Here are the highlights…" The reel starts with Diljit entering the PMO office with a huge bouquet in his hand. Diljit meets PM Modi with folded hands and bowed in respect. Then they two sit and PM Modi praises Diljit saying that he is true to his name, and winning people's hearts wherever he's going.
Then the two discuss Yoga, and Diljit admits how his life changed after adapting yoga to his lifestyle. The Jatt & Juliet actor further admits that when he travelled across India, he understood the true meaning of "Mera Bharat Mahaan." Later Diljit sings a tribute to Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and PM Modi joins him by giving him beats by playing with the nearby table with his palm. The video ends with Diljit bowing to PM Modi, and the latter gives him blessings.
Within an hour the video went viral with several netizens calling it the most unexpected crossover. A netizen wrote, "Two Diljits....Narendra Modi and Diljit Dosanjh both are Diljits." Another netizen wrote, "Ye toh Alag hi crossover ho gaya ji." One of the netizens wrote, "Indians aa gaye oyeee."
Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh brought curtains down on his successful "Dil-Luminati India Tour" in Ludhiana, ringing in the new year with hundreds in the audience at the grand finale.
Held at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) ground on New Year's eve on Tuesday night, the show of the singer's tour marked the end of his two-month nationwide trek, which began in New Delhi on October 26. Diljit shared a series of videos from the Ludhiana concert on his official Instagram page.
