'Dil Bechara' Musical Tribute: AR Rahman joined by leading singers remember Sushant Singh Rajput in most soulful way

Finally, the musical tribute for Sushant Singh Rajput is out. Planned and executed by music maestro A R Rahman, the video has the singers who have crooned Dil Bechara songs coming together virtually from different parts of the country. The also shared their heartfelt messages for the late actor. Dil Bechara marks Sushant's final film and the video has moments shot during the filming in which we see him having a hearty laugh and enjoying every moment. 

Rahman was joined by children Raheema Rahman, AR Ameen along with Hiral Viradia who recorded wearing face shield. While the singers include Sunidhi Chauhan, Hriday Gattani, Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Shashaa Tirupati, Jonita Gandhi. There also a few BTS glimpses in which we can see Sushant with Sanjana Sanghi, Farah Khan Kunder, Mukesh Chhabra, veteran actor-musician Subbalakshmi among others. The video is 13 minutes 26 seconds long and every moment is worth the watch.

Ahead of the musical tribute, Rahman had spoken about Dil Bechara music by stating, "There is no formula to composing music; it depends on what appeases the heart. When I write songs, I let them breathe for some time and then present them to the director. It was a great experience collaborating with Mukesh on this film; his enthusiasm is infectious. This album is carefully curated because the film has so much heart, and now, memories of Sushant."

The film is all set to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from July 24, 2020.
